Dear AscotRE customer;

We are happy to advise you that effective December 1, 2006 we will be providing our AscotRE web-based service directly through Triangle MLS at no additional cost to you. Here is Triangle’s announcement:

Triangle MLS is happy to announce MLS access via many mobile phones and wireless devices including Blackberry, Treo, Life Drive and Windows Mobile phones starting December 1st.  This product will enable you to have listing data with photos at any time any place. In order to have this service your mobile phone has to be web enabled with an html browser. You will need to check with your mobile phone company to have your phone web enabled.

Based on the results of the recent Mobile Task Force and your survey feedback, Triangle MLS has arranged for Ascot Technologies, Inc. to provide this MLS access. Ascot Technologies, Inc. has been offering cellular service and support for real estate solutions in the Triangle since 2002 and has a reputation for great service.  As part of our offering, Ascot personnel will offer demonstrations and training to help you access MLS.  We will also have representatives for local cellular carriers available to answer questions about cell phones and data services.

Dates and times for December are:
December 1 – Ascot will be available from 8:30 to 4:30 with demonstrations at 9:00, 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00.  December 7 – Ascot will be available from 12:30 to 4:30 with demonstrations at 1:00 and 3:00
December 8 – Ascot will be available from 12:30 to 4:30 with demonstrations at 1:00 and 3:00

This new access to MLS will be available to all TMLS members at no additional charge. If you currently have a contract with Ascot effective December 1st you will not longer have to pay the monthly fee. 

If you are prepaid, we will be issuing you a refund. If you are a monthly credit card billing customer, we have adjusted your November payment to reflect this change.

If you are a Treo 600 or 650 user, and still require our original palm based solution, that will be available directly from us for a monthly fee. Please call us to make arrangements to continue with that at (919) 388-1776.
